Migrant Action Trust is an Auckland-based charitable organisation working with migrants and former refugees. We regularly holds jobsearch seminar titled "Start Right in New Zealand" catered for newly arrived migrants. The seminar is developed based on our years of experience in assisting migrant jobseekers.
Topics include:
- Understanding the environment we arrive into
- CV writing and jobsearch tips
- Radical job search strategies
- "Must Know" before sending job application

Waitakere Community Resource Centre (8 Ratanui Street, Henderson)
Participants can avail of individualised support services such as CV/cover letter review, job interview training, career advice and mentoring support.
