내일 새벽 환상적인 뉴질랜드 ‘마타리키’ 별무리 관측 행사에 여러분을 초대합니다!
지난주부터 뉴질랜드 밤하늘에는 별무리 ‘마타리키’(matariki: ‘플레이아데스’ 성운의 마오리어)가 나타나 뉴질랜드 원주민 마오리인들의 음력 달력으로 새해가 되었습니다.
이 ‘마타리키’ 별무리를 세계적인 별자리 관측 장소로 유명한 뉴질랜드 남섬의 ‘아오라키 매켄지 국제 밤하늘 보호구’인 타카포 지역과 테카포 호수에서 뉴질랜드 관광청이 라이브 스트리밍으로 전세계인들과 공유합니다.
시간: 내일 새벽 7월 21일(화) 한국 시간2:30am (뉴질랜드 시간 05:30am) 약 30분간 (* 뉴질랜드 관광청 페이스북 페이지에서 이벤트 신청을 하시면 알람을 받으실 수 있습니다.) 전 뉴질랜드 럭비국가 대표 선수 이즈라엘 대그이 진행하게 됩니다.
New Zealand invites the world to look to the stars for Matariki New Year CelebrationMatariki is a special occasion for New Zealand where we celebrate the start of the Māori New Year, signified by the Matariki cluster of stars reappearing in our night skies – from July 13th-21st.
While overseas visitors can’t be here with us right now to witness this impressive astronomical event, let’s invite the world to experience Matariki with us, virtually, from one of our incredible International Dark Sky Reserves – Takapō/Lake Tekapo.
Hosted by ex-all Black, Israel Dagg, our live event will be a cultural message to the world,
acknowledging the year’s that’s been and our wish for hope and prosperity for the year ahead.
