Job Description:
Poke Poke Takapuna is a not big but busy restaurant, we are making poke bowl which is a healthy and light type of food. That makes the food preparation processes all quite simply. The manager we are looking for can be an experienced kitchen hand who wants to step forward, willing to learn management and at the same time, take full advantage of what you have mastered.
*Ideal Requirements for the job include, but not limited to:
1~2 years’ experience as a kitchen hand.
Deliver a high standard of customer service.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Has mind of food safety.
Self-motivated.
Team player, ready to take over temporarily.
Quick Learner, ability to do multi-tasks at same time.
Valid to work in NZ.
Be available to work on dinner time and weekends.
Has knowledge of or willing to learn NZ food control plan (can include your certificates in the CV if you have).
Work Contents:
Food preparation.
Customer service.
Cleaning.
Daily issues handling.
Stock management.
Staff management.
BE AWARE:
One to two months training, working with our main manager around 30 hours per week, must work on Saturday or Sunday, 24.00 per hour.
After that, if you are capable to work independently as duty manager, 35 hours and more per week, includes both of Saturday and Sunday, working hours and time may differ everyday based on arrangement, we have daytime and dinner time shifts both weekdays and weekends, wage can be negotiated up to 26.00 per hour for first year.
