Tobi is a busy, established, owner operated, European inspired restaurant in Ponsonby. We are open 7days brunch and dinner.
About the role
We are looking for a passionate commis chef to join our team. We expect someone who really keen to learn about culinary arts following the direction of Head chef. We are using European and Asian cooking techniques and cook a lot of our dishes over different equipment. Candidates who have experienced those cuisines would fit in the team quick. Menus change often using fresh seasonal ingredients.

Skills and experience
interest in making a career in hospitality essential.
You will be able t manage your section prep for your section according to bookings, be confident with kitchen prep and service.
You will have a passion for food, love working with great quality ingredients interest in learning new cooking methods and working with new products, work well in a team, calm and organised under pressure, learn to meet targets, able to follow methods, recipes, checklists, cleaning roster and food control plan.
