Position title:  Assistant Accountant

Reporting to:  Finance Manager

Job description

- Review AP invoices and record on the accounting system

- Follow procedures to verify expenses/capital expenditures transactions and liaise with colleagues and suppliers to rectify errors and report it to the management if necessary

- Set a schedule for monthly payment run and arrange daily/weekly payments on time by due dates

- General ledger management, reconciliations & financial management

- Record and monitor foreign currency exchange rates database on the accounting system

- Maintain fixed assets register

- Work with ACS global branches on various accounting/finance related projects

Requirements

- Legal right to work in NZ

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Accounting work experience in Logistics industry is a plus

- Chinese or Korean local work experience is a plus
