CNSST Foundation is a registered charitable trust, offering culturally and linguistically appropriate services to both Asian new settlers and the community as a whole in New Zealand. The key services provided by the organisation include social work and counselling, employment preparation and placement support, driver licensing support, settlement support, education in languages and cultures, community housing development and immigration consultation.
We are looking for a full-time Employment Coordinator who can join our Employment & Enterprise Team to:
· Support community driver licensing needs
· Deliver employment preparation trainings
· Provide job matching services
· Support recruitment for local businesses
· Strengthen our network and partnerships with local employers
Key responsibilities:
· Liaising with NZ government agencies
· Contacting/assessing programme participants
· Providing advice and support on employment
· Providing jobseeker trainings
· Assisting jobseekers with industry certifications
· Providing job matching services
· Programme participation case management
· Wide range of administration tasks
· Reaching out to local employers who need recruitment support
· Ensuring compliance with programme requirements
· Migrant community engagements
Key requirements:
· Experience in education or training preferred
· Understanding of cultural diversity
· Multilingual with good English both spoken and written
· Good proficiency in working with Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Good at time management and work prioritisation
· Team player with attention to details
· Organised and open-minded
· Able to follow instructions and procedures
