With a workforce of 50, a 6,000m² warehouse, and a 700m² office in New Zealand, our operations span across branches in New Zealand, Australia, Korea, and China. We specialize in sea and air freight transportation, customs declaration, domestic transportation, and warehousing.

Your Role

As an Export Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring seamless cargo movement from New Zealand to global destinations. Working closely with a skilled team, you’ll contribute to the efficient execution of our air and ocean freight products while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end export process, ensuring smooth cargo movement from local to overseas destinations.
• Prepare and manage all required documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain seamless operations.
• Provide professional customer service, offering effective solutions to client needs.
• Report regularly to the Export Manager, sharing insights, feedback, and workflow suggestions.
• Negotiate with clients and liaise with customs officials to resolve issues effectively.
• Record and manage shipment details, including carrier and route assignments, international fees, and freight bookings.
• Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and industry regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• Preferred: Experience with logistics software (e.g., Cargowise); training available for non-experienced candidates.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Qualifications in Shipping Management or a related field are advantageous.
• Prior experience in the logistics or shipping industry is highly valued.
• Excellent customer service and negotiation skills to handle diverse client demands.
• Familiarity with export regulations and internal company procedures.
• Confidence with figures and conversions for weights, volumes, and international currencies.
