Bargain shoppers in New Zealand will be following their Australian counterparts as online shopping site Bargain Spot prepares to launch their service for the growing NZ market next month.
Founded by the father-and-son team of Chris and Justin Gray from the Gold Coast, Australia, the online bargain spotting service has reached close to one million Aussies since it was launched in November 2015.
“We’ve seen Australian online shoppers take to Bargain Spot in large numbers since it began and we are fast becoming a leading destination for Australian bargain hunters,” said co-founder Justin Gray. “We are now about to take Bargain Spot into New Zealand with bargainspot.co.nz to give online shoppers there an opportunity to save money in the same way.”
The site works by alerting people to the best discounts by searching over a million products in a range of categories including: Fashion & Footwear, Sports & Outdoors; Home & Garden; Toys & Games and more. The site also features a price alert which users can set to advise them when a price for a desired product reaches a certain level.
Like the Australian version, the New Zealand site will feature products from a range of the country’s top retailers as well as the nation’s favourite international stores. Now New Zealand bargain shoppers can keep an eye on bargains offered by leading online retailers.
“Since its opening in November 2015 in Australia, we’ve seen Bargain Spot offer a ‘new way’ for bargain hunters to shop,” said Justin. “We created the site with the aim of giving bargain hunters the chance to uncover — and take advantage of — hugely discounted items offered by stores,” he explained.
“Because of the success of the Australian site, we are now replicating the service in New Zealand, giving Kiwi’s the chance to save serious money,” he added.
