New Zealand Maritime Museum, Corner Quay and Hobson Streets, Viaduct Basin.

Eastern Viaduct, off the corner of Quay and Hobson Streets, Viaduct Basin.

Te Wero Island, access via the bridges from the Eastern Viaduct, Corner of Quay and Hobson Streets or from Karanga Plaza, Corner Jellicoe and Halsey Streets, Wynyard Quarter.

Karanga Plaza, corner of Jellicoe and Halsey Streets, Wynyard Quarter.

Silo Park and Silo 6, Beaumont and Jellicoe Streets, Wynyard Quarter.

Queens Wharf North End, 89 Quay Street, Auckland CBD. This location is active on Friday only.

Quiet Times

It is expected the first hour of the event will be the quietest.

Getting to the Event

For information on accessible travel using public transport, please visit at.govt.nz/bus-train-ferry/accessible-travel

There are fewer services on weekends and public holidays. Plan your journey at at.govt.nz/bus-train-ferry/#!/journey-planner

From Britomart, it is approximately 500 metres to Maritime Museum, 1km to Karanga Plaza and 1.3km to Silo Park via Quay Street and Wynyard Crossing.

There is construction on Quay Street which has temporarily altered the pedestrian paths including temporary ramps and crossings. Please follow the guidance provided.

Buses

Within the City, all buses kneel to the kerb and also have a ramp, with specified areas onboard for wheelchairs and priority seats at the front. Other accessibility features for visually impaired customers are on every bus.

Concessionary fares are available to passengers who hold one of the following ID cards: Auckland Transport Total Mobility ID card or Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind ID card.

If you are heading to Silo Park from the city-centre, then you might prefer to catch the City Link. It will transport you to the closest stop at Silo Park which is 63 Jellicoe Street (Stop #1061). As you exit the bus, turn left and travel for a few minutes until you reach the Silos.

Trains

Buses are replacing some trains over labour weekend on the Southern, Eastern and Western Lines. We recommend pre-planning your journey. Every effort is made to ensure that the buses which replace trains are as accessible as those operating in the city.

Mobility ramps are located on the middle carriage of the 3-car trains, or the second and fifth carriages on the 6-car trains.

A lift is located at each end of the Britomart platforms which go up to street level.

Mobility Parking

Use mobility parking provided in public facilities nearest the activations you are interested in or mobility parking available on the surrounding streets.
