Do you live in West Auckland and have questions about your rates such as whether or not you’re eligible for a rebate, what’s involved in a rate postponement and what your payment options are?
Councillor Linda Cooper, Deputy Mayor Penny Hulse and staff from the rates team will be holding a series of three rates clinics over the coming weeks to answer your questions. “I have had many questions about rates since July,” says Councillor Cooper.
“I understand a lot of you have had big increases and do not necessarily understand the reason why, and how you will manage to pay them.”
Pop in to any of the three clinics and have your questions answered, receive help with filling in forms and have a chat with the team.
Here are the details for the three rates clinic:
- Wednesday 30 September from 9am to 11am at the Glen Eden Library
- Thursday 1 October from 11.30am to 1.30pm at the Don Buck Room of the Massey Library
- Friday 9 October from 1pm to 3pm at the Te Atatu South Community Centre
