Did you know central government has a rates rebate available, up to $610, for people whose rates are high in relation to their income? It’s estimated only around one-third of all eligible Aucklanders applied for this last year.
North Shore Councillor Chris Darby and staff from our rates department are holding two drop-in sessions on the Shore on Friday 25 September.
From 9.30am to 11.00am at the Sunnynook Community Centre, and from 11.30am to 1.00pm at the Glenfield Library, Chris Darby will be available to talk about your eligibility for rates rebates and postponements, as well as different payment options. Council staff will also be on hand to help with any questions and with filling in forms.
