2016 Artist in Residence - Kate Parker
There are only two weeks remaining to apply for the 2017 Auckland Council Artist in Residence programme – an annual initiative which gives a New Zealand artist the opportunity to live and work in an Auckland regional park.
The programme is special as the residency site moves each year to generate awareness about our different parks.
This year, the selected artist will be based for an eight-week period in either Long Bay Regional Park or Mahurangi Regional Park (Te Muri Beach) from mid-October to mid-December 2017 to produce new, inspiring artwork for Aucklanders to enjoy.
Artist in Residence is open to all experienced artists, including writers, poets, composers, choreographers and visual artists.
See more information and 2017 residency application forms or contact Artist in Residence coordinator Michelle Edge on 021 857 003.
Artist in Residence 2017 applications must be received before 5pm on 17 February 2017.
