ymonds Street Cemetery, a public park since 1908, is enjoying a resurgence of interest as Waitemata Local Board’s 10-year restoration plan hits its third year.
“We’ve cleared a great deal of the park area and opened up new trails and walkways for Aucklanders to enjoy a serene, leafy stroll in the heart of the city,” says Waitemata Local Board Chair Shale Chambers.
The new Hobson Walk, featured here, comes with its own heritage trail guide.
