School heats for the ‘What’s Your Flavour’ Burger Battle are coming to a close this week as students gear up for the semi-final event at Manukau Institute of Technology next Tuesday.
Tasked with designing and creating a healthy burger with a cultural twist, Auckland secondary school students have been battling it out among their peers in the hopes of securing a spot in the 'What's Your Flavour' final held at the NZ Chefs National Salon later this month.
OurAuckland recently caught up with last year’s winners Pagia Wilson (16) and Eufemio Castro (17), who shared their experience of competing at the prestigious event.
