Holiday rubbish collections
Changes to holiday rubbish collections in February.
Auckland Anniversary and Waitangi Day holiday changes.
Rubbish collections will be one day later from Monday 1 February, with normal collections resuming Monday 15 February. The exceptions listed on this page apply.
Rubbish and recycling normally collected on Friday 5 February and Friday 12 February will be collected on Saturday 6 February and Saturday 13 February despite the Waitangi Day holiday, because of the delay caused by the previous week's Auckland Anniversary holiday.

Exceptions:
- Parnell and Newmarket: no changes to Thursday night rubbish collections for red lidded wheelie bins.
- Inner-CBD: no changes to kerbside collections for rubbish bags, recycling bags and paper/cardboard.
- North Shore and Waitakere: no changes to business evening kerbside rubbish bag collection and business recycling and paper/cardboard collections.
