You can give feedback on Auckland Council's plans for the future via Twitter and Facebook.
Auckland Council is turning to social media to find out what people think of some of its most important plans for the future.
Throughout March, the council is asking Aucklanders what they think of its 10-year Budget and the Auckland Plan 2050. As well as the usual ways to give feedback – forms you can fill out online or post to the council – keyboard warriors will also be able to make their voices heard.
To give your feedback and have your say on the future of Auckland, tweet @AklCouncil with your thoughts. Tweets received between 28 February and 28 March that include the hashtag #akhaveyoursay will be recorded as official feedback.
For those who prefer Facebook, posts on Auckland Council's Facebook page using the #akhaveyoursay hashtag will also be counted as feedback, provided they are made between 28 February and 28 March.
More information about all the budgets and upcoming plans – including how you can tell the council what you think about its plans using more traditional methods (including in person) is available at akhaveyoursay.nz.
