With winter officially starting on 1 June, and the days getting ever shorter, now is a good time to check that your bicycle lights are up to standard.
In December 2016, a rule change from NZTA came into place stating that bike lights must now be visible from 200 metres and be used from sunset to dawn.
So remember – check your batteries are working or your lights are charged and keep biking bright whatever the weather.
