The development of Westgate Town Centre is progressing well, with the second stage, NorthWest Two, due to open in October.
The NorthWest Shopping Centre opened in October 2015, and features many of New Zealand’s best-known retail brands.
The addition of a dining precinct and other major retail brands, key components of the next phase, will significantly enhance the development. The dining precinct will include popular brands such as Goode Brothers, Cleaver & Co, Nandos and Papparich.
Other retail developments are due to open soon, led by Briscoes and Rebel Sport and followed by Harvey Norman. A Bunnings Warehouse is also under development.
Auckland Council will also be building a multi-purpose facility including a library and community centre at the heart of the Westgate Town Square.
Deputy Mayor Penny Hulse says, “It’s amazing to see such great progress in the northwest, which is fast becoming the in place to work, shop and play.”
“I’m really enjoying being able to shop close to home, as are many other Westies.”
