World-class acts in Auckland this summer
Enjoy the sunshine, fresh air and a range of world-class entertainment this summer with free lunchtime performances at Aotea Square, major exhibitions at Auckland Art Gallery, family-friendly outdoor concerts at Auckland Zoo, jugglers, comedians and mimes at the International Buskers Festival, delicious kai moana at the Seafood Festival along the waterfront and an exciting new international music festival in the inner city.
Regional Facilities Auckland (RFA) Chief Executive Chris Brooks says the aim is to transform Auckland into an unforgettable summer playground for all.
“Auckland will see some world-class entertainment this summer. Just to name a few highlights, from now until the end of April we have the Auckland City Limits music festival setting up to rock Western Springs in March, the Auckland International Buskers Festival during anniversary weekend along Aotea Square, our new Pridelands redevelopment at Auckland Zoo set to open at the end of March, and performances from international and local talent including Bic Runga and Tiny Ruins, Noel Gallagher, John Cleese, Brian Wilson and Dawn French across all RFA venues.”
