Celebrate Auckland's heritage!

Auckland Council is celebrating the unique heritage of Tāmaki Makaurau throughout October.

The centrepiece of the month’s activities is the Auckland Heritage Festival, which runs until 14 October. Discover Auckland’s colourful characters and diverse cultures and communities on a range of exhibitions, walks, talks and tours, school holiday activities and more.

And visit OurAuckland to find out more about the region’s people and places through a series of features that put Auckland’s heritage in the spotlight, including a walk through central Auckland where you can learn more about the art works that mark the history of the city.
