Follow the pink line to the Auckland International Cultural Festival and the Active Puketāpapa TRY-athlon.

Planning on attending the Auckland International Cultural Festival or the Active Puketāpapa TRY-athlon over the next fortnight? If so, you’ll have much more fun if you leave the car at home and walk or cycle there along the Puketāpapa path!

As part of the Akl Paths project, Auckland Council and Downer have highlighted this upgraded walking and cycling path with a hot pink line (shown above) to guide you to the events.

The Auckland International Cultural Festival is on Sunday 2 April at Mt Roskill War Memorial Park, while the Active Puketāpapa TRY-athlon takes place on Sunday 9 April at Keith Hay Park. The Akl Paths pink line will be visible for both events.

You can soak up the scenery as you travel and be stress-free without the worry of finding a car park.

About Akl Paths

The goal of the Akl Paths project is to find the quickest, safest and most enjoyable ways to discover Auckland via walking and cycling.

Paths include the Mt Roskill Safe Route pathway and the SH20 Shared Path, both of which feature some hidden gems and picturesque parks along the way.
