The Tamariki River is suitable for tamariki (children) over eight and pākeke (adults) who are a little less confident in the water.

The River Rush is a grade 3/4 white water experience that is fun for anyone over 14. The rapids offer real challenges in a safe, monitored environment.
3. Get pumped!
A must-do for thrill-seekers, the Pump waterfall is an exhilarating 4.5m drop that can be conquered in rafts or kayaks.
4. Stand-up paddleboarding
Have a go at stand-up paddleboarding in Wero’s purpose-built lake.
5. Learn to kayak
Beginner kayak lessons will teach you all the skills you need to have fun in the water and eventually ride the rapids.
6. Come and watch – for free!
Vector Wero is free for visitors, so come along and see some of the nation’s top kayakers and rafters do their thing.
7. Bring the whole family
Special rafting packages are available for families, so bring the kids and make a day of it.

Vector Wero Whitewater Park is supported by Regional Facilities Auckland, a council-controlled organisation. A significant goal for the park is to improve water safety skills for all young people.
