As part of Mayor Phil Goff’s Million Trees programme, and to help celebrate Matariki, Auckland Council is holding special tree planting events in June and July to put 60,000 trees in the ground.
You’re invited to come along and help out. Every volunteer will get a free tree sapling to take home from Trees that Count. There'll also be a sausage sizzle after each planting.
