Asian Family Services was established in 1998, to provide counselling, public health education and support for all Asians in New Zealand. Asian Family Services is the only treatment provider for people from an Asian background who are affected by gambling harm in NZ. Our services are culturally appropriate and offered in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese Vietnamese, Thai and Hindi. An interpreter can be provided for other Asian languages. Our services include, a nationwide Asian Helpline, public health, free counselling for affected by gambling harm, psychological services, social work, peer support, parenting programmes, and staff support services.
