Tekapo Springs (formerly Alpine Springs) has 3 main Hot Pools over looking Lake Tekapo and the Two Thumb Range. Each Hot Pool has it's own unique character through various features. The Pools are surrounded by native bush and plants that are synomious with the region. Tekapo Springs operates Monday to Sunday 10am - 9pm 364 days. Located in Lake Tekapo, Alpine Springs is a 2.45 hour scenic drive from Christchurch or Queenstown, in the South Island of New Zealand. Tekapo Springs also features a Day Spa, Skating Rink (Winter), TRIPPO waterslide (Summer), Snow park (winter), Summer Tube park, Sauna/Steam Room, Plunge Pool and a fully licensed Cafe.
